About Taryn Fiebig

Taryn FiebigTaryn Fiebig began learning piano at the age of nine in Perth. After being awarded a music scholarship at high school, she began learning cello. This led to a music degree with a major in cello performance at the University of Western Australia. Taryn continued to study singing while building her career as a cellist then in 1999 she was awarded a Churchill Fellowship to undertake further vocal training in London. She then returned to Perth to study at the Australian Opera Studio in 2002.
Since 2004 Taryn has been singing with Opera Australia to great acclaim.
